Finding your way

How the four campuses relate to each other

Pathify describes itself as having three campuses, and lists four entries. Riverbend, Northgate and Pathify Health are physical sites. Pathify Online is not a place, but it enrolls 2,900 students and awards the same degrees on the same terms.

Course registration is university-wide rather than campus-bound, so a student admitted at one campus can take courses at another within the same term. Term dates are identical across all four.

All athletics venues sit at Riverbend. Each physical campus has its own library.

The four campuses in detail

Riverbend
Main campus · 19,800 students
The original 1871 site and the largest of the three physical campuses. Holds the College of Arts & Sciences, the College of Engineering & Computing, Pathify Business School and the School of Law & Public Policy, alongside Hollis Main Library and all three athletics venues.

Northgate
6,400 students
Opened in 1964 and organised around the arts, the environment and social work. Holds the College of Education & Social Work and the School of Architecture & Environment, together with the Northgate Arts Library.

Pathify Health
2,300 students
Established in 1978 to bring medical and nursing education onto one site beside Riverbend General. Holds the College of Health Sciences, the School of Nursing and the Pathify Health Sciences Library.

2,900 students · Not a physical campus
Fully online study taught by the same faculty and awarded on identical terms. Counted within total university enrollment but not among the three physical campuses, which is why the university says three and lists four.

Libraries and venues

Four libraries
Hollis Main Library at Riverbend, the Northgate Arts Library, the Pathify Health Sciences Library and the interim library that opened on the old quad in August.
Three athletics venues
Calderwood Stadium, the Hale Center arena and the Riverbend Aquatics Center, all on the Riverbend campus and home to the nineteen Herons varsity teams.
Fourteen residence halls
Holding 6,900 beds, including the four living-learning communities. First- and second-year students live on campus.
