Pathify Health, where the clinical programs are taught

Two thousand three hundred students train here for nursing and the health professions, across two schools and three clinical partner sites.

The Pathify Health campus

A campus built around supervised clinical practice

Pathify Health is the smallest of the three physical campuses and the most specialised. Everything taught here leads towards licensure or clinical practice, and the academic calendar is shaped around placement rotations rather than the standard term pattern alone.

Two schools are based at Pathify Health: the College of Health Sciences and the School of Nursing. The B.S.N. and the D.N.P. both run from here, as does the undergraduate public health degree, and the campus holds the Pathify Health Sciences Library.

Clinical work happens off campus, at three partner sites across the region. Students are placed from their second year and the placement schedule is set by the schools rather than chosen by the student.

Where clinical placements happen

Nursing and health sciences students complete supervised rotations at three partner sites. Placement is arranged by the schools and begins in the second year of the B.S.N.

  • Riverbend General

    The region’s largest acute care hospital and the primary rotation site for medical-surgical and critical care placements.

  • Northgate Community Hospital

    A community hospital serving the Northgate catchment, used for maternity, paediatric and community health rotations.

  • Midland Veterans Center

    Long-term and rehabilitative care placements, including geriatric and mental health rotations for both B.S.N. and D.N.P. students.

Common questions about studying at Pathify Health

Do I choose my own clinical placement?
No. Placements are allocated by the School of Nursing or the College of Health Sciences across the three partner sites, and the rotation schedule is set before the year begins.
Is the B.S.N. longer than a standard bachelor’s degree?
It is four years, the same as other undergraduate degrees, but it carries 128 credits rather than 120 and the clinical rotations run outside standard class hours.
