Ten officers hold university-wide portfolios, reporting to the President and through her to the Board of Regents.

How the university is run

Who holds which portfolio

Pathify is governed by a Board of Regents and led by President Dr. Naomi Ellsworth. Academic authority sits with Provost Dr. Marcus Oyelaran, who holds responsibility for all programs across the eight colleges and for the 2,410 full-time faculty.

Seven further vice presidents and officers carry university-wide portfolios spanning finance, enrollment, student affairs, research, information, advancement and the office of the President.

Deans lead the individual colleges and report to the Provost. Dr. Sung-min Park, Dean of the College of Engineering & Computing, is listed here as the dean of the college awarding the largest single undergraduate program.

The President and the Provost

    President

    Leads the university and reports to the Board of Regents. The Ellsworth Lecture in Public Policy is held each October at Morrow Auditorium.

    Provost & Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs

    Holds academic responsibility for all 140 majors and 210 graduate programs, and for the faculty across all eight colleges and schools.

    Runs the office of the President and coordinates across the vice presidential portfolios.

    Administers the university's $412 million annual research expenditure and the cross-departmental programs it funds.

    Oversees housing, dining, student organisations and campus wellbeing across all three physical campuses.

    Responsible for admissions and enrollment across undergraduate, graduate and online programs.

    Holds responsibility for the university budget, for the published cost of attendance and for the capital program including the interim library on the old quad.
